Pilot Plant Demonstration Unit

Our process uses a serpentine reactor.  This simulates a plug flow reactor and allows for nutrients to be added at various stages of the reactor, allowing for maximum algae growth.  The pilot plant will be a 4,000,000 gallon reactor.  This reactor will be used to demonstrate that high concentrations of algae are achievable  This will be the equivalent of capturing carbon dioxide from a 50 kilowatt power coal fired power plant.

Current Development

We are in negotiations with Rabun County, GA to provide services to a 20 MW (Mega Watt) facility.

Harvesting of algae is very costly do to its low concentration in typical reactors.
Novel biological means of harvesting algae will be demonstrated in our facility.
